The education outreach officer will be responsible for delivering our exciting and popular climate change education programme in schools across Wales. They will plan and deliver fun and inspiring workshops about the importance of tropical forests for pupils of all ages.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and engaging practitioner with experience of working within the education system in Wales. They will have an interest in the importance of tropical forests and climate change and be willing to undertake further training on these topics.
Salary: £27,900 gross pro rata (£22,320 part time equivalent) plus expenses, travel costs and home working support. Size of Wales is a Living Wage employer

It is responsible for setting overall strategy and ensuring it is delivered by the Size of Wales Director, Deputy Director and the wider team of sixteen. The Board comprises people bringing the range of professional skills and personal and employment experience needed to ensure that the charity is well governed.
Remuneration: Voluntary with reasonable expenses covered
Time commitment: One day a month (on average)
Standard term of office: Three years renewable for a further term
