YouthCOP Cymru

YouthCOP Cymru is an interactive event for young people aged 9-14 to learn about the UN and its annual climate change talks, the “Conference of Parties” better known as COP.

YouthCOP Cymru events are held around the same time as the COP Summit. This year they took place in Wrecsam and Caerdydd (Cardiff). The events provide a fantastic platform for young people to learn about climate change. They also equip participants with skills like negotiating, problem-solving and understanding other cultures.

Through YouthCOP Cymru, we encourage young people to be more engaged with climate change, considering the positive role Wales can play, both locally and globally.
