Size of Wales offers free workshops to schools across Wales to raise awareness about climate change and tropical forests.
We will release more workshop dates in December 2024.
Our workshops are devised in line with the new national curriculum for Wales. We will complement your teaching, helping your pupils to become “ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world”.
All workshops are age-appropriate and explore the amazing biodiversity of tropical forests and the lives of the people in them. They introduce the issue of climate change and the vital role forests play in combatting this. They are solution focused and highlight how pupils have the power to protect tropical forests.
Each session is delivered by one of our passionate and experienced outreach officers. Our workshops and free educational resources are funded by the Welsh government and are available in English and Welsh.
Please note that we are funded to deliver in state funded schools only.
