Education Outreach Officer, North or Mid Wales (Welsh speaking)

Minimum criteria for interview selection is 60% of the Selection Criteria. Please see the Selection Criteria Assessment Table for details. 

• Qualification or relevant experience of delivering sessions with school aged young people.
• Fluent Welsh speaker.
• Engaging, passionate delivery style.
• Ability to self manage time effectively, manage competing demands and prioritise own workload.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to nurture strong relationships with schools
• Understanding or willingness to learn about environmental topics such as climate change, climate justice and deforestation.
• Good organisational skills, project management skills and the ability to meet targets and achieve demonstrable results.
• Experience of tracking, monitoring and evaluating data of outreach work and using this to write reports to funders.  
• Good IT skills, including microsoft office, gmail and google documents. 
• Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding including digital safeguarding issues. 

Training will be provided to ensure that all candidates feel supported in their role and progress their career development. IT training of essential software will also be offered.

5)   If you have been shortlisted for an interview, including if you are eligible through the GIS, you will be contacted by the Recruitment Administrators on or by Monday 13th April. They will arrange an interview for Tuesday 28th April. You will also receive information about the interview format, the panel, a selection of the interview questions, and a task to prepare.
Unfortunately, we cannot inform those who were not selected for an interview this time.

6)  Interviews will take place on Tuesday 28th April. A decision will be made and you will be notified by Friday 1st May.
