Festive Trees

Gift back to nature this Festive season!

We encourage our supporters to raise funds and help our partner communities to preserve tropical forests. In previous years, we have raised enough money for our partners to plant  thousands of trees in places like Boré, Kenya, and Mbale, Uganda. This year, we are supporting our forest partners across the globe to protect tropical forests the size of Wales and grow trees.

Forest partners such as Regrow Borneo are restoring tropical forests through community tree growing that is ethical and research led. They are not only helping to capture carbon but are planting trees in ways that improve local livelihoods and enhance biodiversity, such as the Bornean elephant or the endangered orangutan.

We are also raising funds to support our amazing Indigenous forest partners who are the best guardians of our precious forests. In South America, the Guarani, Yanomami and Wampís Nation are protecting the Amazon and Atlantic forest from illegal gold mining and large agribusinesses, often risking their lives. 

Trees play a vital role in all of our lives. They absorb carbon, support wildlife, provide food, and prevent landslides. They also have a broader cultural significance worldwide, especially in December when many people gather around a tree with loved ones.
