Cerys is part of the Education Outreach Team covering South Wales East from Neath to Bridgend and Rhondda Cynon Taff. She has a background in outdoor education and secondary science. Always interested in rainforest conservation, Cerys has undertaken conservation work in various tropical forests worldwide. In particular, she is invested in protecting rainforests in Central and South America, home to a particularly slow-moving animal that she has worked with in Costa Rica, the sloth, which she loves going off in a tangent about in her sessions! Cerys is passionate about encouraging the next generation to care for the planet, and to understand and take action against climate change.
