Shea Buckland-Jones

Trustee

Shea is Head of Policy and Advocacy for WWF Cymru. He has worked on a number of campaigns and projects to tackle Wales’ impacts on deforestation overseas, with a particular expertise in food systems. Shea previously worked for the Institute of Welsh Affairs leading the Re-energising Wales project, and has worked in the environment sector in Wales for over 15 years. Shea also sits on strategic advisory boards for Transport for Wales and Food Cardiff. Raised in the mountains of Cwmaman, Shea has a degree in Law and Politics from Cardiff University.

I remember the creation of Size of Wales and I was inspired to see the creation of an organisation in
Wales with such a unique vision and mission that was going to make Wales a part of the global
solution to climate change. To support Size of Wales as a Trustee in protecting and restoring
precious habitats globally for people and nature is a privilege.
