Projects

We are committed to fighting climate change by protecting and replanting tropical forests across Africa and South America.

Forests are key to mitigating against the impacts of climate change by absorbing the carbon dioxide we emit. Despite this, up to 12 million hectares of tropical forest is destroyed each year! As much as 25% of global carbon emissions is caused by the destruction of the tropical forest, this is greater than the carbon emitted by all the worlds transport combined.

Each of our projects works closely with the indigenous communities who live in and depend upon the forests for their livelihoods. Indigenous peoples often have a sacred connection to these forests and have lived sustainably with these forests for centuries making them the best conservationists of all! Our projects work to empower these communities in a way that enables them to protect these precious forests.
