Madagasikara Voakajy is supporting communities to manage the forest that supports them and the rare Golden Mantella frog in Madagascar.

Well Grounded

Well Grounded support organisations in the Congobasin enabling the local community to identify and map customary forest land in 150,000 hectares of forest with a view to obtaining formal commercial rights to the area.

African Galapagos, Tanzania

TFCG are working with over 30,000 people in the Rubeho Mountains in Tanzania, the project will provide sustainable development opportunities, develop effective forest management and conserve forest resources; removing destructive use of the forests and improving incomes.

RSPB's Gola Forest National Park

This project aims to ensure that the GolaForest National Park is protected in perpetuity and that the people who live around it benefit from its protection with sustainable livelihoods.

This project protected the Mata-Atlântica Brazilian rainforest from threats such as climate change, deforestation, urban growth and unsustainable exploitation.

Bees for Development

Assisting in sustainably managing the Kilum-Ijim forest in Cameroonfor the dual purposes of biodiversity conservation and livelihoods development. Support the creation of Guiding Hope, an organisation to access more secure markets for the produce of local beekeepers.

 

Conservation and Protection of the Bosawas Biosphere Reserve with Oxfam

 The reserves forms a continuous block of tropical forest covering an area of two million hectares, making this forest in Nicaraguathe largest forest reserve in Central America. This project in partnership with Oxfam addressed threats to the forest and its peoples through advocacy to ensure legal protection.
