Become a Size of Wales School

Posted on

It’s not just companies and communities that are getting involved with Size of Wales. Schools across Wales have been learning about the importance of rainforests and are taking action to combat climate change; 40 schools had fun on Go Green Day and raised over £6,000!

Working with Techniquest, Mid Wales Opera, Keep Wales Tidy and our own dedicated outreach workers, we offer a range of educational experiences to school groups of all ages. We can even offer aFREE ASSEMBLY and half day workshop to schools across the nation. This will get you well on the way to becoming a Size of Wales school and getting a certificate!

We are delighted to announce that St Joseph’s Cathedral Primary School in Swansea is the first school to become a Size of Wales School, but there are lots of other schools on their way and it’s not too late for you to make the most of this opportunity either! Get your local school involved and please contact [email protected] if you’d like more information.
