Thank you so much to everyone who entered our rugby raffle last week. We raised £320 which will be doubled by our match fund. Every single penny raised goes directly to the forest projects we support. You can find out more information on our website’s project menu.
Congratulations to our winner Huw Bramhall. Below he tells us about his time at the match.
“It was a great match, Wales played really well and there was an amazing atmosphere in the stadium. I know there always is, but these seats were better than any I’d had before and it really made a big difference being close to the pitch.
I was really surprised to win the tickets. When I entered I didn’t really think there was any chance I’d win, but I was happy to give some money to Size of Wales, and if you don’t enter then there’s no chance at all right?
It was fun coming down to Cardiff, I hadn’t been in the city for a year and a half (since the wales v Fiji match in the World Cup) and my girlfriend had never been so we did the touristy thing and went to the castle. Then we had the fantastic match to top it off. I was worried after round 3 that Ireland would be too good, but Wales were on great form and we were close enough to see all the action, especially George North’s first try.
Thanks again to the charity for the tickets, it was a real treat!”
Keep up to date with Size of Wales, our projects and any future campaigns/competitions to be in with a chance of winning great prizes whilst helping protect forests.
